Beloved child, the tongue is like a wreckless vehicle unless it is restrained and guarded by My Spirit. Those who ramble on and on about things they actually know little about surely will be trapped by My adversary.
He puts many idle, careless thoughts in the minds of My beloved ones. My children should recognize when their thoughts or words are not of My Spirit, but so many love to hear themselves prattle on and on as if they admire the sound of their voices.
Gossip is predominant in many Christian circles, and I am grieved. My word says much about deadly, disturbing words coming from the mouths of multitudes of My own. Make no mistake, My children will be judged regarding their careless words. Selah.
“But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for in the day of judgment.” (Matthew 12: 36) “As righteousness tendeth to life; so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death. They that are of a forward heart are abomination to the LORD; but such as are upright in their way are His delight. Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished; but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.” (Proverbs 10:19-21) “Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity; so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature, and it is set on fire of hell.” (James 3: 5-6)
