Over the weekend God carried me back to the significance of the Jubilee in His Divine plan of the ages as I remembered that January 3rd was the 50th anniversary of my only brother’s death when he was 41 years old and never reached his year of Jubilee on this earth. God then reminded me that we are entering the Jubilee year 2026 of our nation on the Georgian calendar: 1776-2026—250 years—five Jubilees! Five in the Bible is the number for grace. Then going back to the founding of America and the covenant the Pilgrims made with God in 1620, we completed 400 years or eight Jubilees in 2020—eight being the number of new beginnings. Truly God has been doing a new thing since 2020 in our nation and lives! We are truly living in unprecedented times—many declaring as biblical! The Jubilee in the Bible is a sacred, fiftieth-year observance described primarily in Leviticus 25, marking a time of liberation, restoration, and divine justice. According to Leviticus 25:9-10, a loud trumpet should be sounded and “You are to make the fiftieth year holy and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It is to be a Jubilee to you, when each of you is to return to his own property and each of you is to return to his family.” The Jubilee year served as a radical expression of divine justice and a corrective to economic inequality, reinforcing the idea that land and human dignity were gifts from God, not commodities to be exploited indefinitely. It was a year of celebration and rejoicing, symbolizing a return to a state of wholeness and equity. According to Isaiah 61: 1-2 and repeated by Jesus in Luke 4: 18-19, the Jubilee is proclaimed as the “year of the Lord’s favor,” which is a promise of freedom, justice, mercy, and restoration. The Jubilee presents a beautiful picture of Jesus Christ as He is its living embodiment—bringing spiritual liberation and the restoration of all things. It was a time for people to return to the Lord and to their families and loved ones. The Jubilee challenges believers to embody these principles in our communities and personally as we seek to walk in the steps of Jesus!
It was back in 2017 that Jonathan Cahn published a book called “The Paradigm” that went back to the biblical types that are being replayed in modern times. His recent book “The Avatar” confirms the revelations shown him earlier with updates confirming and expanding them. God impressed upon him that there is an ancient blueprint, an ancient paradigm that uncannily and amazingly has everything to do with our times just as the pattern of the Jubilee continues to be played out. The names and faces of the biblical characters are not the same but world figures are fulfilling the Divine plan for nations and civilizations. He sets forth the ancient blueprint that originated in ancient times and yet reveals the events of the twenty-first century. Behind Donald Trump is the mystery of Jehu recorded in 2 Kings. The signal and sign of Jehu’s ascent to power was the sound of the trumpets. The sound of trumpets was that of uprising, of revolution, of change and judgment, the ending of reigns and dynasties, and the ascending of a new king. The sound of the trumpets was the sound of Jehu. The America Jehu is linked to the trumpet—Trump. Trump’s calling, purpose, and prophetic destiny were found in the trumpet. Trump is Jehu, and Trump is a trumpet. As in the days of Jehu, the falling of leaders, dynasties, agendas, and legacies will occur under Trump in America. The scripture appointed to be read on the Sabbath of Trump’s birth spoke specifically of the making, the producing and the bringing forth of the trumpet. “And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them; that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. And when they shall blow with them all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.” (Numbers 10: 1-3) Then in verse 9 we read, “And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.”
For nearly two thousand years, the people of Israel were separated from their ancestral possession, their Holy City, Jerusalem. That separation ended in 1967 when Israeli soldiers entered the gates of the ancient city. It was the year of return and restoration. Israel returning to its ancestral possession, a prophetic Jubilee. Fifty years from 1967 is the year 2017. In the Year of Jubilee, the trumpet is lifted up as Trump was lifted up before the American and world stage. So, it was in 2017 that Trump issued the Jerusalem Declaration, giving Israel the legal recognition of its return to its ancestral possession. So, in the Year of Jubilee 2017 Trump sounded, and the right to Jerusalem returned to its original owner, Israel. It would not be the last time the mystery of the Jubilee and the trumpet or the Trump, would manifest. Both abortion in America and the case of Roe v. Wade began in the year 1970. So, it was in 2020, the Jubilean year of both, that Trump sounded and the overturning of Roe v. Wade began.
As we began this Jubilee year, the news of the invasion of Venezuela was announced as the tyrannical leader and his wife were removed. Trump declared war which is authorized by the Monroe Doctrine signed on December 2, 1823 and amended in 1904 against a leader who performed crimes against humanity and committed extensive crimes against our nation. This arrest and investigation will uncover a multitude of atrocities that will expose the depth of our enemies and reveal the Divine reset God is unfolding in this Year of Jubilee. The people who have been persecuted in the nation of Venezuela are dancing in the streets and thanking Trump for setting them free. But we know that it is God who remembered His people and orchestrated this event and is saving us from our enemies—even those within our nation! This is only the beginning of what we are about to witness in this Jubilee year! But remember, the trumpet was an instrument of blessings and redemption on one hand, but of warning and judgment on the other. Jehu was an imperfect vessel who could be careless with the ways of God and reckless in acts. On one hand, he fulfilled the will of God. On the other, he both exceeded and fell short of it. The same attributes that proved a strength when employed for the purposes of God would prove a weakness when not. Therefore, we must pray that the American Jehu and those of his house will prove greater than his ancient prototype—and will seek, above all things, to serve the will and purposes of Him who called them. We must pray that God will raise up those whom He will raise up to use as vessels of His purposes. But our hope must never rest in any vessel, even vessels of God, but only in God Himself.
On one hand is God and the foundations on which America and the West came into existence and on the other the god of this world and its systems. America’s problem is not ultimately political, economic, societal, or even cultural—but spiritual. In war there are many battles. If we change a government but not people, then the unchanged people will change the government back. If we turn the laws but do not turn the hearts, then the unturned hearts will turn the laws back again. As we learned last week in our study—it is all about the heart! We can only solve a spiritual problem with a spiritual answer. The answer only comes if America returns to the God of its departing and receives back His presence into every void and hollow of His absence. Without God, not only are nations lost and judged, but each of us is. What then must we do? We must turn away from the old, from the darkness, from sin, and seeking for and receiving His forgiveness and cleansing. It means receiving His love and presence into our heart, to fill every void and emptiness. And it means following Him every day of our life. We must pray for revival as never before, fervently, wholeheartedly, and unceasingly. We must work as never before, act and minister, that revival may come. We must boldly spread the word of salvation, the good news of Jesus, to all who will hear it, that revival may come. We must choose revival and begin living in revival—with no reservations, no compromise, and no turning—all-out, total, and on fire for God. If we do that, then revival begins, then and there. Let us commit to doing so and boldly declare that God alone is God!
This nation, the church and each of us is in need of a Divine Reset. The majority of the population will only experience one Jubilee in a lifetime. Therefore, we must take this personally. Remember, Jubilee is the Year of Release—forgiveness, freedom, liberty. In what area of our life do we desire to experience release whether physically or spiritually? Have things taken a turn for the worse, maybe we have made a bad investment, maybe our family is ill, maybe we are unable to work, maybe we are estranged from family or friends, maybe we have an addiction, maybe we are gripped by fear or worry, etc. Is there anything beyond the forgiveness of God? Abortion? Adultery? Abuse? Hate? Hypocrisy? Doubt? Divorce? Drunkenness? Or Immorality? Or Murder? Or ______? We can fill in the blank. There is nothing we have ever done that He cannot or will not forgive when we humbly ask. God forgave the men who nailed His Son to the cross. (Luke 23: 34) Only God, through Christ, has the power to forgive sin. (Matt. 9: 1-8) It doesn’t matter how big the sin is or how small, it doesn’t matter how long ago it was committed or how recently. It doesn’t matter whether it was spontaneous or malicious. God will forgive us if we come to Him at the cross of Jesus Christ. God is a God of second chances! If we think that the Lord takes second chances lightly, read Romans 3: 10-18. Romans 3:23-24 gives us this assurance: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.” The only way we can be forgiven is by being brought back to God through the atonement. God’s forgiveness is possible only in the supernatural realm. However, God’s mercy is discretionary, and He may not pardon those who persist in unrepentant rebellion. (1 Jn. 5: 16, 1 Cor. 11:30, Acts 5: 1-10; Heb. 12: 6, 1 Cor. 5:5) Jesus taught that unforgiveness toward others can hinder one’s own forgiveness from God. (Mt. 6:14, Col. 3:13, Lk. 6:37, Mk. 11: 25) Ultimately, God’s forgiveness is final and irreversible because it is based on the once-for-all sacrifice of Christ. The debt of sin has been liquidated, not merely set aside, and God promises to never remember the sins of those who are in Christ. (Heb. 8: 12, Ps. 103: 12) This forgiveness is not earned by human effort but is received by grace through faith, as the Bible teaches that salvation is not by works, so that no one can boast. (Eph. 2: 8-10) Therefore, every believer is an example of God’s extraordinary mercy, having been forgiven despite our unworthiness.
Oswald Chambers reminds us: “We are only what we are in the dark; all the rest is reputation. What God looks at is what we are in the dark—the imaginations of our minds; the thoughts of our heart; the habits of our bodies; these are the things that mark us in God’s sight.” This is the challenge that we face during this Year of Jubilee: God is waiting to release us from all that separates us from Him—to set us free from all that weighs us down and keeps us from running the race set before us.(Heb. 12:1) The solution lies in 1 John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” “Our priorities must be God first, God second, and God third, until your life is continually face-to-face with God.” (Oswald Chambers) Jesus has conquered the world and deprived it of power to harm us! This is the Year of Jubilee—If God sets us free, we will be free indeed! (Jn. 8:36)
