Today begins a new chapter in the ministry of From the Throne begun by Betty Jo Hardy who is now with her Beloved at the Throne. Her girls have both contacted me today after much pray to direct the continuing of this ministry. They are going to preserve the great treasure of the inspired messages from the Lord for their family. They have asked that I continue to send weekly messages to those who have received them previously but from the great treasure of God’s Word that is our Source for life now and eternally. I can’t think of a greater tribute to their mother who loved the Word and Jesus! Jesus’ weapon against Satan’s temptation is our example today in all we face—God’s Word. His response was: “It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” (Mt. 4:4) “It is written again; Thou shalt not tempt the Lord they God.” (v 7) “Get thee hence, Satan; for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve.” (v 10) Jesus is the same yesterday and today and forever! Let us mediate upon His Word day and night as it is Christ, the Written Word! I have included an attachment to the scripture focus passage for your convenience. Be encouraged—The LORD is our Shield! May we keep our eyes on Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith!

In the grip of His grace,

Psalms 18

I love you, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

6 In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.

27 For you save a humble people, but the haughty eyes you bring down. 28 For it is you who light my lamp; the LORD my God lightens my darkness. 29 For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. 30 This God—his way is perfect;[d] the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.

46 The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation—

Psalms 47: 9

“The willing-hearted of the peoples have gathered together, with the people of the God of Abraham. For unto God belong the shields of the earth; He is greatly exalted.”
